Texas A&M made a small, yet important move towards the right side of the bubble Tuesday night, earning a tough win over Auburn in College Station, 83-78. Texas A&M is now considered the last team in according to Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology.

The Aggies were led by Wade Taylor, who dropped 22 points with 7 assists in the win. Julius Marble added 20 points, while Tyrece Radford added an important 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Texas A&M is an impressive 9-2 in the SEC, right there with Tennessee for the No. 2 spot in the conference, a good spot for the upcoming SEC Tournament. A&M has won 4 of the past 5 games, losing only to Kentucky and Arkansas in SEC play this season.

And while necessary moves are being made to get off the bubble, some early-season woes are going to haunt the Aggies. Texas A&M lacks any resume changing wins and has a pair of rough losses to Murray State and Wofford to their name. They can score a huge top 10 win over one of Tennessee or Alabama, both of which have to travel to College Station this season.

Of course, that’s easier said than done. Next up for Texas A&M is LSU this Saturday in Baton Rouge.
