Texas A&M officially signs highest-rated recruiting class ever

Texas A&M has been building a juggernaut of a 2022 recruiting class under coach Jimbo Fisher.
On Wednesday, during National Signing Day, the Aggies made history with this incoming class.
After 5-star DL Shemar Stewart announced he was signing with the Aggies, it became official — Texas A&M has signed the highest-rated class of all time, per the 247Sports composite rankings:

The class, as of Wednesday afternoon, contained 7 composite 5-star players. You can see the entire incoming Texas A&M class here.
While not all of these incoming freshmen will contribute right away, Fisher has 3 years to make the most of this insanely deep class. We’ll see what the Aggies are able to do in 2022 and beyond.
Alabama’s 2021 class held the previous record for best class ever.
