Texas A&M reportedly loses key guard to NCAA transfer portal
Texas A&M had a great finish to the 2021-22 season, making it to the SEC Tournament final before falling to Tennessee and advancing to the NIT final before losing to Xavier.
There’s plenty of reason for optimism in College Station, as long as coach Buzz Williams can keep most of the roster intact.
On Thursday, it was reported by Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports that guard Hassan Diarra had decided to enter his name in the transfer portal:

Diarra was a key backup in the Aggies’ rotation. He played in 40 games this past season, starting 3 of them. He averaged 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen. He could still return to Texas A&M, too.
