Video: Texas A&M player ejected for targeting on Alabama RB Damien Harris
Texas A&M’s best play of the day came with a little bad news.
Junior defensive back Donovan Wilson was ejected for targeting after he nailed Alabama running back Damien Harris during an interception return. Harris was trying to bring down senior linebacker Claude George, who stepped in front of a Jalen Hurts’ pass.

The ejection came after Crimson Tide linebacker Mack Wilson delivered a crushing helmet-to-helmet hit on kick returner Speedy Noil but was not flagged for targeting. Even worse for the Aggies, quarterback Trevor Knight threw an interception on the play immediately following George’s pick.
No. 6 Texas A&M is currently trailing No. 1 Alabama 13-0 in the waning minutes of the first half.
