Former Texas A&M star QB Johnny Manziel is now with the Memphis Express, and in two games with the team, he’s looked good.

However, on Saturday against the Orlando Apollos, Manziel suffered a scary-looking injury and has been taken to the locker room.

As you can see below, Manziel threw an interception and then dove for the feet of the defender trying to make a tackle. Instead, he got kicked in the head and went down hard:

Manziel had to be helped off the field and later made his way to the locker room. Whether or not he’s able to return remains to be seen.

Hopefully, he ends up being OK, and hopefully he doesn’t have to attempt too many tackles for the rest of his career.
