If you missed the news this offseason, the NCAA is allowing football players the ability to wear the No. 0 jersey starting this fall.

When that happened, suddenly the No. 0 jersey became a hot item all around the country and it was easy to guess some of the best players in the nation would be the first to wear the number for their respective schools.

That turned out to be the case on Rocky Top as arguably the best player on Jeremy Pruitt’s defense has been given the first No. 0 jersey for Tennessee following the NCAA’s rule change.

Junior cornerback Bryce Thompson was eager to reveal he will be the first player to wear the number for the Vols during the 2020 season.
