Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Josh Palmer hopes that he’ll be catching plenty of touchdowns from Justin Herbert throughout his career.

The former Tennessee Volunteer, drafted by L.A. in the 3rd round of the 2021 NFL Draft, had been held without a score before Sunday’s clash with the New England Patriots. But, with the Chargers trailing 27-17 with less than a minute remaining in regulation, he made a nice grab in the end zone despite being covered by a pair of defenders.

Take a look at the video below:

Although it will be in a losing effort, you never forget your first touchdown catch. And while it’s been a quiet season for Palmer — that was just his 6th reception all season — hopefully, he’ll find himself involved more in the Chargers’ offense as the season progresses.

The Chargers are now 4-3 and next visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 7.
