The ManningCast has been one of the more successful TV programs of the football listings this fall, as ratings and popularity have explained that a big audience enjoys Peyton and Eli Manning on a broadcast.

After they rolled out successful alternate broadcasts of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” coverage, it was natural for some to wonder if they could do the same for the upcoming Ole Miss-Tennessee game. But according to Eli, Peyton has “wimped” out of calling the game. “He scared!!” Eli wrote on Twitter.

The teams will meet in Knoxville next week, and bring together 2 of the most explosive offenses in the SEC and across the country. The Vols are coming off a 45-20 win over South Carolina that followed a 62-24 win at Missouri.

Ole  Miss, meanwhile, knocked off Arkansas 52-51 in a game when QB Matt Corral had 287 passing yards and 94 rushing yards with 2 touchdowns.
