Jauan Jennings felt like he was wearing orange and white again in the Super Bowl.

Jennings would have had a strong case for MVP had his San Francisco 49ers been able to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs. Even in the loss, he had a memorable Super Bowl.

Tennessee fans remember Jennings was a high school quarterback who converted to wide receiver. Jennings got to show off his passing abilities in Sunday’s Big Game with a touchdown throw to Christian McCaffrey.

After the game, Jennings recalled another memorable passing touchdown. In their UT days, Jennings hit Josh Dobbs for a long score against Florida.

“It felt awesome,” Jennings told reporters after the game. “It felt like I was back at the University of Tennessee throwing to Josh Dobbs.”

Jennings was responsible for both 49ers touchdowns. He had 4 catches for 42 yards and a receiving touchdown.
