King Kamara: Alvin Kamara breaks New Orleans Saints TD record vs. Patriots

Alvin Kamara is officially the New Orleans Saints’ all-time TD leader.
The former Vols RB found the end zone for the 73rd time in his career Sunday against the New England Patriots, which breaks Marques Colston’s record of 72 career TDs. It only took Kamara 90 games to reach that mark while it took Colston 146.
Here’s the touchdown that broke the record. It’s also Kamara’s first touchdown of the year as he returns from his 4-game suspension:

On top of being the first Saint to reach 73 receiving/rushing touchdowns, Kamara is also one of just 2 to rush for 50 touchdowns with the Saints, joining Mark Ingram II.
Tennessee fans knew Kamara was going to be special long before he lit it up in the league with the Saints. He was woefully misused at Tennessee as part of a 2016 squad that had a promising start, yet disappointing finish to the season under Butch Jones.
Now, he’s practically tripping over touchdowns in the NFL as one of the league’s premier backs.
