Los Angeles Rams waive former Tennessee LB
Former Tennessee linebacker Daniel Bituli is looking for another NFL opportunity. The Los Angeles Rams announced on Saturday that they are waiving Bituli.
Bituli signed with the Rams on April 29 after not being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. According to GoVols247, a knee injury led to Bituli being “flagged” by many clubs during the pre-draft process.
A multi-year starter for the Volunteers, Bituli recorded 266 tackles (including 14.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks) 6 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles in his UT career. His Tennessee highlights included a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown at Alabama and a blocked punt and recovery for a TD in a home win over South Carolina.

Sorry but it wasn’t a knee that cost him!!! He was never NFL quality!!! I’m not rooting against him. But I know football. Y’all had a defense like soft butter!!!
King Negan
Can still have quality individuals on average defenses lol.
“But I know football” … yeah my girlfriend says the same thing and dont know jack schidtt … just screams roll tide with the rest of yall
And if the defense was soft like butter – it wasnt cuz of Bitulli
That’s a shame, he has a motor like no other. I think he is a big time run stopper, however that’s not exactly the mold of LB that the NFL is looking for anymore.
You would think he could find a team who would at least put him on their ST unit. Maybe he just hasn’t had a good camp, many good players over the years needed second opportunities to stick.
Bituli was definitely a bright spot on our defense. I wonder why King Negan feels the need to comment on EVERY SINGLE article…
