Lyn-J Dixon arrives at Tennessee practice; jersey number revealed
Lyn-J Dixon is a running back who spent the past 4 seasons at Clemson. Part way through the 2021 season, he transferred from Clemson to West Virginia, but never suited up for the Mountaineers.
Recently, he ended up in the transfer portal again, and now he’s heading to Rocky Top to play for Tennessee, the school he originally committed to back in 2017 before ending up at Clemson.
Now, he’s officially arrived at Vol practice, and it appears he’ll be wearing the No. 23 jersey for the 2022 season:

In 4 years at Clemson, Dixon ran 218 times for 1,420 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added 20 catches for 190 yards and a score as a receiver.
Can he be an impact player alongside Jabari Small in the Tennessee backfield? The Vols will be counting on him to fill in for Len’Neth Whitehead, who will miss the 2022 season with an injury.
