As one of the more experienced players in the SEC, Tennessee WR Jauan Jennings has plenty of confidence.

Jennings is the Vols’ active leader in receptions (87), receiving yards (1,184) and touchdown receptions (10) and has 21 starts across a 37-game career.

Jennings is the unquestioned emotional leader for the Vols and is coming off of a redshirt junior seaosn where he was second on the team with 30 catches and was third in receiving yards with 438 yards.

So forget being the alpha male only in the receivers room, Jennings declared to Mike Wilson of the Knoxville News-Sentinel, “I’m the alpha male anywhere I go.”

Jennings may be most remembered for his game-winning 43-yard Hail Mary catch at the buzzer to lift Tennessee to a comeback win at Georgia. But last season against Alabama, Jennings had six catches for 102 yards, all in the first half.

Let’s see if he can translate some of this confidence to the season this fall as he leads an experienced Tennessee offense.
