Tennessee adds Australian punter to 2022 recruiting class
There has been a late addition to Tennessee’s 2022 recruiting. Jackson Ross, a punter from Melbourne, Australia, committed to the Volunteers on Friday.
Ross made the announcement via his Twitter account:
I am honoured to announce that I have committed to study and play football at The University of Tennessee on full scholarship.
I appreciate all the support, in particular from @ProkickAus, @JohnnyPKA and @tglees.@Vol_Football @coachjoshheupel @CoachEkelerUT #GBO #GoVols 🍊 pic.twitter.com/RjGHl59BhA

Tennessee online sports betting officially launched on November 1, 2020, and many of the largest sportsbooks are live and operating in the volunteer state. Tennessee is only one of a handful of SEC football states with legalized sports betting.
Ask Michigan how well Australian punters work out
The Aussies certainly are sending a good number of kickers to the US.
Didn’t we have another punter from Australia a few years back?
Did the Vols manage to win 8 to 9 games in the regular season when he was there a few years back?
Has Missouri ever won anything of importance ever? We’ve scored 120 points on y’all in the past 3 years.
Didn’t even know you girls played each other. The game does not have any consequences. So it only really matters within the two fan bases. Irrelevant comes to mind. Alabama has beaten Tennessee so many years in a row, not even a competitive rivalry anymore.
Who said anything about Alabama? This a battle of SEC East foes.
Who said anything about Alabama? And if you didn’t know Missouri played Tennessee last year, then you must not know how the SEC schedule works. That would be like me saying that I didn’t know Alabama played Miss. State this past year.
Whoah, duplicate comment.
Mr Andrew Olson SDS sports person. I am sure Ross would tell you he is going to compete starting this year. If he kicks the football better, then he will be the punter. That is how it works.
