Tennessee’s chancellor Jimmy Cheek and athletic director Dave Hart issued a joint statement expressing disgust in regards to a chant fans directed toward Florida in the final minutes of Saturday’s 10-9 loss. The chant– “(Expletive) you, Florida!”– rang throughout Neyland Stadium and was picked up on the SEC Network’s live broadcast of the game.

Florida extended its winning streak over Tennessee to 10 games, tying the longest streak in series history between the SEC East rivals. The Vols led 9-0 in the fourth quarter before the Gators scored 10 unanswered points.
