Notre Dame has done its damage using the longball. The Irish have hit 4 home runs in the first 4 innings. UT has yet to lead in the game, with ND making it 2-0, 3-0, 3-0, 5-0 and 8-1 by leaving the yard in Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

In the top of the 4th inning, Tennessee made its second pitching change of the day to stop the bleeding at 8-1. It’s an 8-2 game in the bottom of the 4th inning after a Trey Lipscomb solo home run.
We’ll see if the Vols are able to battle back. The game is airing on ESPN2.
