There are multiple significant storylines pertaining to Saturday’s big-time game between Texas A&M and Tennessee.

One specifically sits in regards to Tennessee being able to protect starting quarterback Josh Dobbs. A&M possesses as fearsome a one-two punch off the edge as anyone in the country with Daeshon Hall and Myles Garrett.

Left tackle Brett Kendrick will get the unenviable task of trying to slow Garrett. He spoke about the opportunity to take on one of the best defensive players in the entire country. While being completely respectful of Garrett, Kendrick mentioned how going up every day in practice against Vols’ DE Derek Barnett should (in theory) help when taking on this challenge.

He also spoke about his offensive line group in general:

“I think that says is all. We have settled into our spots. I have settled into left tackle and getting Chance Hall back has been huge for us. He is a great player. Dylan [Wiesman] has settled into center and Jack [Jones] has come on and been huge for us. Coleman [Thomas] is getting healthy and coming back. The consistency comes with all of that. We are really growing together and learning how to play with each other.”
