Their first win of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Volunteers routed the Chattanooga Mocs, 45-0, on Saturday at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.

Chattanooga had one final chance to get some points on the scoreboard, but Volunteers freshman defensive back Kenney Solomon made an instinctive play on the football in the end zone for his first collegiate interception.

Tennessee football recognized the play on Twitter:

A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Solomon was a three-star recruit in the 2019 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. Possessing 4.45 forty speed, the Vols are understandably high on his potential upside.

The photo of his mother’s reaction is pretty cool, too:

Looking to get back to .500, the road will not be easy for Tennessee as they travel to Gainesville to face the No. 9 Florida Gators on Saturday (12:00PM ET, ESPN).

The Gators have won two straight in the rivalry, Tennessee’s last win in Gainesville came in 2003.
