Steve Sarkisian 1-and-done? Texas fans sound off, call for coach to be fired amid struggles vs. Kansas

Steve Sarkisian has not had things go according to plan this year, his first season at Texas.

Through the first 5 games, the Longhorns were 4-1. Since then? Abject disaster. The Longhorns entered Saturday night’s home game against hapless Kansas on a 4-game losing streak.

Many thought playing the Jayhawks would be an easy win to right the ship in Austin. Instead… uh… well…

That’s not a mistake. Kansas holds a 35-14 lead over Texas at halftime. In Austin. In a game of American football.

Let’s just say Texas fans aren’t handling it well. As you can see below, some even took to Twitter to call for the team to fire Sarkisian, even though he’s only in Year 1 at the helm of the program:

Can Texas mount a massive comeback and avoid a horrible loss? Steve Sarkisian’s job might depend on it, if Twitter is to be believed.
