Vanderbilt RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn has been one of the biggest breakouts of the bowl season so far, rushing for 243 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Baylor on Thursday night.

Now, it seems he has an interesting decision to make — capitalize on this big game (and a couple of others throughout the season) and turn pro, or return for another year at Vanderbilt?

After the game, Vaughn said he’s going to take his time, and that his big Texas Bowl performance won’t play a part in what he decides (via Tennessean.com):

“I don’t know how I’m going to (announce my decision). Once I do come up with a decision, I’ll let everybody know,” said Vaughn. “This game played no part in my decision.”

Vaughn ran for 1,244 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, adding two more as a receiver.

Another year in school may help him, but without QB Kyle Shurmur next year, it may be harder for him to find space to run. It’ll be interesting to see what decision he makes.
