Jalen Hurts has got the nation’s attention.
One day after being named the SEC’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week, Alabama’s true freshman quarterback reeled in two more weekly honors for his efforts against Mississippi State.

Hurts amassed 447 total yards in the Crimson Tide’s 51-3 win against the Bulldogs last Saturday, which was the third-most total yards in program history. He also tied the school single-game scoring record with five total touchdowns (four passing, one rushing).
The true freshman became the first player to throw for more than 300 yards and rush for more than 100 yards in the same game. After his outing against Mississippi State, it’s no surprise Hurts is being nationally recognized.
