According to a report by the school’s athletics website, the University of Alabama self-reported 19 secondary violations for the 2015-16 calendar year.

The football team, however, reported just five of those.

Among the football violations was a trophy being “temporarily placed in an area where prospects taking an official visit would be.” That’s a violation, because it “resulted in an impermissible recruiting decoration of an area.”

The other football violations included text messages to prospects, a coach calling a prospect for a second time during the week and a former player providing free training to a current player.
