Do you think Alabama fans are excited about watching their team play in 2016?
Coming off a College Football Playoff championship, 76,212 Crimson Tide fans showed up at Saturday’s spring game, but what’s even more impressive, the Crimson Tide’s spring game ratings topped all weekend NHL playoff games on ESPN, according to Austin Karp, the Assistant Managing Editor at SportsBusiness Daily.
Not totally surprised, but Alabama spring game on ESPN on Saturday (0.6 overnight rating) topped all weekend NHL Playoff games on cable TV

Saturday’s spring game crowd was the largest since 2013, when the Crimson Tide were coming off back-to-back national championships, and it’s certainly not overly surprising fans tuned into Saturday’s game. I’d say the majority of them are pondering Lane Kiffin’s quarterback decision as we speak.
The fact that the spring game followed an NBA Playoff game certainly didn’t hurt the ratings.
Do you think Alabama fans will ever get complacent or bored with winning?
