Alabama starting offensive guard Alphonse Taylor was arrested Sunday morning for driving while under the influence and was hit with an indefinite suspension by coach Nick Saban the day after.

On Tuesday morning, Taylor, a senior, took to Twitter for the first time since his arrest. Despite the disappointing mistake that led to his suspension, he seems to be taking the optimistic route:

Taylor started 15 games for the Crimson Tide in 2015. If he is to miss any action — chances are he will — it’s likely that redshirt freshman Brandon Kennedy will take his place.
