Jalson Fowler did it all when he played at Alabama. Now, after his first three NFL seasons, the former Crimson Tide fullback has a new team.

According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fowler has signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Fowler played the past three seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

Over his three years with the Titans, Fowler had 10 carries for 20 yards and two touchdowns and six receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. He played all 16 games in 2015 and 2016, but only 10 in 2017.

Fowler was with the Seattle Seahawks earlier this preseason, but he was released on Aug. 12 after missing time while battling a hamstring injury. He has made eight starts over 42 games in his NFL career.

Fowler joins Ricky Ortiz and Luke McNitt as fullbacks on the Falcons’ roster.

Fowler played at Alabama from 2010-14. He received an extra year of eligibility after playing only two games during his junior season in 2012.

In his career at Alabama, Fowler had 738 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, 150 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. He was drafted by the Titans in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
