The 6-foot-1, 177-pound Jeudy is rated as a high four-star prospect, the No. 28 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 4 receiver prospect in the nation and Florida’s No. 6 overall prospect, according to 247Sports. Jeudy chose Alabama over fellow finalists Florida, Tennessee, Florida State and Miami.

Jeudy looks to continue a trend of the Tide landing elite Sunshine State receivers, as Alabama has developed quite the pipeline of talented Florida receivers in recent seasons. Former Heisman finalist Amari Cooper and last season’s offensive emerging star, returning sophomore Calvin Ridley, both came from the south Florida area.
Going up against some of the best high school competition the country has to offer in the state of Florida, Jeudy’s junior highlight reel shows off his incredible talent that projects so well to the game’s next level. Last season, Jeudy caught 41 passes for 500 yards and 10 touchdowns as a high school junior.
According to one recruiting analyst, Alabama now has one of the most lethal combinations of incoming talent both committed to the 2017 recruiting class:
#Bama QB commit Tua Tagovailoa & new #Bama WR commit jerry Jeudy was the most dangerous duo at @TheOpening this summer. They'll reunite @ UA

With Jeudy now officially onboard, Alabama now has 18 total commitments for the 2017 recruiting cycle – with 14 of the recruits rated as either a five or four-star prospect.
