If your favorite team loses its bowl game, don’t be like this guy. Be the opposite.

Former Alabama quarterback Alec Morris, who transferred to North Texas last offseason, put together the best performance of his short career during the Mean Green’s 38-31 overtime loss to Army in the Heart of Dallas Bowl this afternoon.

He finished 26-of-38 (68.4 percent) with 304 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, but apparently that wasn’t good enough for one fan, who thought a death threat and a horrible wish was an appropriate response.

Wow.

This was just the second bowl appearance for North Texas since 2004, as the Mean Green went 5-7 during the regular season and snuck into the postseason after compiling an abysmal 1-11 record last season.

Some people simply should not be allowed to be on social media.
