Much like the majority of college football fans, former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy also wants the NCAA Football video games series to return after a three-year hiatus.

McElroy was one of the tens of thousands of college football players to receive a check from the EA Sports as part of the class action lawsuit for player likeness. The company hasn’t created another NCAA Football game since 2013, as it had to pay college football players for using their likeness in the game.

The checks the players are receiving isn’t life-changing, to say the least. Reports indicate that players are being sent an average of $200, though it varies by person.

McElroy, not impressed with what he got in the mail, went on a Twitter rant about how he’d much rather just have the game back, and how college players should salivate at the exposure that it gives rather than complain about likeness.

What do you think? Does he make a compelling argument?
