When Jalen Hurts stepped on the field against The Citadel on Saturday, he received a huge ovation from Alabama fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Hurts has been out for the past few weeks after having foot surgery, so his return was something Bama fans have been waiting for.
After the game, Hurts tweeted his appreciation for the love shown to him by the fans, as you can see below:
I appreciate all the love and support. It was great being back on the field with my brothers. Definitely a special moment that I will NEVER forget! LET’S KEEP CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN! ? https://t.co/Zt5wb4PrsY

“I appreciate all the love and support,” Hurts’s tweet reads. “It was great being back on the field with my brothers. Definitely a special moment that I will NEVER forget! LET’S KEEP CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN!”
Having Hurts back is huge for the Tide, as it gives them extra insurance behind starter Tua Tagovailoa. Now, he just needs to keep working his way back into game shape.
