Auburn should get graduate transfer DB Marshall Taylor back in the near future, Gus Malzahn said Sunday.

Marshall suffered an undisclosed injury while attending a party with former running back Jovon Robinson,  according to AL.com, and it was among the reasons why Robinson was dismissed last week. Marshall missed the first week of Auburn’s fall camp.

“We do expect him back in the near future,” Gus Malzahn said in reference to Taylor. “He’s taking care of some personal business and like I said, we expect him back in the near future.”

Taylor tallied 39 tackles last year for Miami (Ohio) and recorded two pass breakups in 11 games. Regardless of talent, his experience would certainly be welcomed in Auburn’s secondary.
