Many were shocked when the Orlando Magic drafted Auburn F Chuma Okeke Thursday night.
Okeke tore his ACL in the Sweet 16 against North Carolina, so his rookie season is in jeopardy. Still, the Magic certainly have confidence in Okeke’s recovery. He was one of the nation’s most versatile forwards. He’s an elite defender who likely would have been a lottery pick had he been healthy.
On Friday, the Magic announced that Okeke will wear No. 3. You can bet you’ll see some Magic jerseys around Auburn now.
