The Auburn Tigers are ranked No. 14 in the country and have a chance to make a big statement on Saturday evening, playing host to No. 12 Kentucky.

However, they’ll have to play without one of their star players, according to a report that came out on Saturday afternoon.

Per 247Sports, center Austin Wiley will miss the game with an injury suffered earlier this week, leaving a hole in the middle of the Tigers’ starting lineup:

Wiley suffered an injury during the week and was a game-time decision earlier in the day but he has now been ruled out of action, two sources close to the program tell Auburn Undercover.

Wiley has been impressive for the Tigers this year, averaging 10.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while anchoring the Auburn defense.

The Tigers played without Wiley last year, so they know what needs to be done. We’ll see if they can still manage to hold off a tough Kentucky squad on Saturday evening.
