Former Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson has been trying to catch on with a professional football team since going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Now, it appears he has found a squad, though it may not be as illustrious as he was anticipating.

However, according to AL.com, Johnson will play this spring in the American Arena League with the Peach State Cats:

Johnson, who threw for 2,224 yards with 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions with 210 rushing yards and nine scores in his Auburn career, agreed to terms with the Peach State Cats earlier this week.

Johnson also tried to get in basketball shape for a possible basketball career after college, but now it appears he’s returning to the gridiron.

Peach State starts its 2018 season against the Carolina Cowboys on March 24.
