Florida made a huge goal-line stand in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game at LSU to preserve a narrow 16-10 lead and clinch the SEC East title in the process.

After the game, coach Jim McElwain was interviewed by ESPN sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, where he was equal parts awkward and emotional.

The interview got off to an awkward start as McElwain kept asking Hartung how cool it was that Florida won the SEC East:

Then, things got a little more passionate, as Mac addressed the back-and-forth between the two schools in regards to rescheduling the game in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.

He said it was ridiculous how people lost sight of what really mattered and seemingly forgot that people lost their homes to the storm:

Either way, the Gators are heading to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, where their reward will be a matchup against No. 1 Alabama, the SEC West champion.
