Video: Florida’s Chris Thompson ejected for targeting South Carolina punt returner

With Florida trying to maintain its lead in the SEC East race, the Gators shouldn’t be doing South Carolina any favors.
But that’s exactly what happened late in the second quarter when senior Chris Thompson was ejected for targeting Gamecocks punt returner Chris Lammons. South Carolina would have been pinned inside its own 10-yard line if not for the 15-yard penalty, though the Gamecocks eventually punted.
It was a twist of irony that hit on Lammons caused an ejection, given that Lammons was tossed from the last two games due to targeting and throwing a punch.
