The decisions by players such as LSU RB Leonard Fournette and Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey to not play in their non-playoff bowl games due to injury concerns has led to a spirited debate among media members and athletes.

Former Georgia LB Jordan Jenkins thinks that the players are getting too much criticism when coaches do the same with little to no attention.

Jenkins refers to Georgia’s situation last year after Mark Richt’s tenure ended and both coordinators were let go. The Bulldogs played in the TaxSlayer Bowl under interim coach Byran McClendon, defeating Penn State 24-17.
