Loaded with NFL talent since Mark Richt’s arrival in 2001, Georgia has captured six Eastern Division titles and two conference championships over that span thanks to premiere players at the skill positions and a wealth of playmakers on defense.

Since the turn of the century, an incredible 84 Bulldogs have been selected, including a school record eight apiece during the 2002 and 2013 drafts.

Running back Todd Gurley could potentially become Georgia’s 14th first-round pick under Richt if selected on Thursday. Considered the top ballcarrier in this year’s draft by most analysts, Gurley’s surgically-repaired knee appears back to full strength after recent tests.

Georgia’s had several No. 1 picks in school history, four to be exact beginning with running back Frank Sinkwich in 1943 and most recently quarterback Matthew Stafford in 2009. Stafford was named MVP in his first Pro Bowl appearance last season.
