Coming off a stunning loss to the Florida Gators, the Georgia Bulldogs look to shake off last week’s debacle and return to their winning ways against the Kentucky Wildcats.

Here are the best and worst numbers for the Bulldogs before Saturday’s kickoff.

The Good

215: total yards by Nick Chubb. Lost in the madness of the Gators’ 418-yard rushing performance was the outstanding game from Nick Chubb (again). Georgia’s freshman running back tallied 215 total yards and two touchdowns. 159 of those yards came on the ground.

385: days since UGA lost two games in a row. The last time Georgia lost in two consecutive games was on Oct. 19, 2013 when the ‘Dawgs lost by four points to Vanderbilt.

15: UGA has won 15 of last 17 games against UK. The Wildcats haven’t had much success against the ‘Dawgs, winning twice in nearly two decades.

The Bad

8: UGA put itself behind the 8-ball with its loss to UF last weekend. Georgia was in complete control of its destiny in the SEC East, but now the ‘Dawgs will have to hope for another Mizzou loss in order to make it to Atlanta.

418: rushing yards allowed vs. Florida. This was the obvious storyline from the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Georgia was the second-best run defense in the SEC prior to last Saturday, allowing just over 100 yards per game.

36.7: points averaged at home by UK. It’s good for just eighth in the conference, but the disparity between UK’s home and road numbers is astounding. Currently, Kentucky averages 22.4 points more at home than on the road. With a big opponent like UGA coming to Lexington, you know the Cats will be amped to beat one of the division’s best teams.
