Former Georgia coach Mark Richt appears to be pulling for the Bulldogs in Monday night’s National Championship Game against Alabama.

Richt also doesn’t seem bitter about the way his coaching tenure ended in Athens, and sometimes change is good for everyone. And in this case, it was great for UGA, Richt and Miami, as the Hurricanes have had a revival of sorts with Richt at the helm.

The Hurricanes won 10 straight games this season, but they lost their last three to Pitt, the ACC Championship Game to Clemson and the bowl game against Wisconsin. Ironically, Richt was known for winning around 10 games per year at Georgia, but the Bulldogs never could get over the hump under Richt.
