Georgia DB Latavious Brini will pay $455 in fines and a $45 per month probation fee as part of a plea deal he reached for a downtown altercation that happened in late February, according to a report by Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer.

Brini is barred from downtown Athens from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during six months of probation, per the report. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct while having two other charges dismissed.

Brini allegedly slapped a 23-year-old male victim outside the Silver Dollar Bar on February 28. He left a small mark on his right temple.

“This type of behavior is extremely disappointing and not representative of the standards for our football student-athletes,” Kirby Smart said in a statement following the incident this offseason. “His discipline will be handled internally and hopefully good lessons will be learned that will lead to better choices moving forward.”

Brini played in five games making one tackle in 2018.
