Georgia will give Arkansas State what is believed to be the highest payout ever in college football for their 2019 non-conference game.

DawgNation.com confirmed a report from The Jonesboro Sun claiming the Bulldogs will pay the Red Wolves $1.8 million for that contest. Alabama agreed in February to pay Arkansas State $1.7 million for a 2018 game, which was believed to be the largest single-game payout at that point.

Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity did not comment on the matter. The game is scheduled for Sept. 14, 2019.

Arkansas State has emerged as a power in the Sun Belt, amassing a 50-26 record since 2011.
