The sister of Georgia assistant coach Kevin Sherrer was found murdered on Tuesday, according to the AJC.

First reported by AL.com, the bodies of Sasha Breann Sherrer, 36, and Gary “Sambo” Hazelrig, 43, were discovered on Tuesday afternoon inside their home in Locust Fork, Alabama, after friends and family were unable to reach the couple. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.

The couple was last seen alive about 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Sherrer coaches UGA’s sam linebackers, and it’s unclear whether he’ll be at practice this week or Saturday’s game against South Carolina.
