Braylon Heard’s short-lived Kentucky career is already over. He declared for the NFL Draft Wednesday.

Heard transferred to Kentucky from Nebraska, and he rushed for 366 yards and four touchdowns in 2014. While a Cornhusker, Heard rushed 77 times for 452 yards in 2011 and 2012.

“I appreciate the hard work Braylon gave to the Kentucky program,” UK coach Mark Stoops said in a statement. “He has been a model student-athlete and we wish him nothing but the best.”

With Heard now gone, Boom Williams will be the featured back in the Wildcats’ ever-evolving offense. Jojo Kemp and Mikel Horton will also see increased playing time.
