Kentucky’s struggling defense will be missing a key player when it takes on Vanderbilt today.

The junior defensive tackle was spotted in street clothes and will miss the game due to an undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder has just four tackles this year but is a space eater at his nose tackle position.

The Wildcats (2-3, 1-2) will try to stop Ralph Webb, the SEC’s leader in rushing yards, without the services of their big defensive lineman. Kentucky’s defense entered Saturday ranked 108th in the country in total defense, giving up 468 yards per game.

The Wildcats and Commodores (2-3, 0-2) just kicked off on the SEC Network.
