It has been a rough couple of days for LSU, as quarterbacks Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan have announced their intentions to transfer.

That leaves Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow and sophomore Myles Brennan to duke it out for the starting job, which seemingly makes coach Ed Orgeron’s job easier.

On Wednesday, Coach O kept his cards close to his vest, as he said there’s no rush to name a starter, even after two players transferred:

The favorite to land the job is Burrow, but it’s apparently too soon to count Brennan out just yet.

It’s still early in fall camp, so there’s time for the Tigers to play it slow and wait for one of the two remaining quarterbacks to separate himself.
