Les Miles won’t be the only LSU mainstay absent from the Missouri game tonight.

After reports surfaced early Saturday that LSU running back Leonard Fournette was “very doubtful” against Missouri, it appears the junior is indeed a no-go.

Fournette has been dealing with an ankle injury all season, which he first sustained late in fall camp. He tweaked it again in the final minutes of LSU’s season-opening loss to Wisconsin, causing him to miss the Jacksonville State game one week later.

The same situation seems to have occurred again, as the SEC’s current rushing leader is doubtful to play after reaggravating his ankle in the waning moments of LSU’s loss at Auburn last weekend. Interim coach Ed Orgeron will likely turn to sophomore Derrius Guice, who rushed 19 times for 155 yards and a score in Fournette’s stead against Jacksonville State.

LSU and Missouri kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
