Ed Orgeron and Alan Watts aren’t typically found in the same place, but that changed this week when LSU released a hype video ahead of its Saturday night game against Mississippi State.

The voice of Watts, a British philosopher, opens the slow panning video around Tiger Stadium as a preview this week’s game.

“What sort of a situation would you like, if you do really like what you’re doing, it doesn’t matter what it is, you can eventually become a master of it,” Watts said. “Therefore, it’s so important to consider this question: What do I desire?”

Then the LSU coach took over.

“If you want something bad enough, you gotta go take it,” Oregon said. “You gotta block out the noise.”

Then the video closes with Watts again.

“When you speak, it’s silent. When you’re silent, it speaks.”
