LSU mascot Mike VI moved to hospice care
Sadly, the end is nearing for Mike VI, LSU’s live tiger mascot.
The cancer he’d been battling has spread and eventually, when he can no longer bear the pain, he will be euthanized.
On Monday, it was reported that Mike will no longer be out in his habitat on the LSU campus. Instead, the tiger has been moved to hospice care:
Mike has transitioned to hospice care and will not be out in his yard.

Mike continues to receive the best care available to ensure his final days are as comfortable as possible.
