LSU S Jamal Adams surprised no one announcing that he will be forgoing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft. One of his press conference participants, however, might have surprised a few people.

Former LSU coach Les Miles was on hand for Adams’ press conference. Miles signed the five-star Hebron (Carrollton, Texas) safety in 2014. He was rated the No. 31 overall recruit of the ’14 class.

Like many of Miles’ signees, Adams looks to have a very bright future in the NFL, ranked the No. 4 overall draft prospect by Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller.

Adams started 26 of 37 games at LSU and recorded 209 tackles, 5 interceptions and 19 pass break-ups. He was named an All-American by Pro Football Focus and CBSSports.com in 2016.

Juniors RB Leonard Fournette and DL Davin Godchaux also elected to forgo their final seasons at LSU to enter the draft.
