After meeting with Jerry Jones, Tony Romo and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line on Wednesday night, former LSU offensive lineman La’el Collins has reportedly found a home in the NFL.

According to the Fort-Worth Star Telegram, the SEC standout who was projected to go in the first round last week but fell out of the draft completely has agreed to a multi-year free agent deal with the defending NFC East champions.

Collins’ recent timeline of events triggered by a murdered acquaintance caused his draft stock to take a serious blow. He was questioned by Baton Rouge police on Monday and was reportedly cleared on any wrongdoing in the death of 29-year-old pregnant woman Brittney Mills.

Paternity tests revealed Thursday that Collins was not the father of Mills’ unborn child, who later died after being delivered.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Collins’ three-year deal is worth $1.65 million.
